The war of the deltas 8 vs. 9

submitted by gaperglory to whatever 1.8 yearsSep 13, 2023 23:27:37 ago (+1/-0)     (whatever)

It seems every state has one of these legal but not both. Its almost certainly lobbyists from the hemp industry trying to stop the legalization of regular old grass. Very Interesting if you follow pot

So today, i went into my local states(My state is no pot for any reason, i.e a delta -8 state) hemp store, where they specialize in selling delta 8,10, and even delta-9 ( edibles that meet the weight requirement for how much has to be in the edible to be legal federally), which is 0.3%. So in my TOTALLY NON LEGAL STATE, they not only have edibles like chocolate and they also have pot that they sell given its qualities and strength in THC-A. (ALL THC-a IS IS DELTA-9 THC THAT HASNT BEEN SMOKED YET!

So my point is, i can get high on any canabinoid legally in an illegal state. I can eat edibles. I can smoke bud thats every bit as strong as stuff in oregon(all because they call is thc-a instead of delta 9.)

HERES WHERe IT GETS WIERD!!!
There arent any states where both are legal. You wont find a state where delta 8 and delta 9 are legal. Ironically, this means that as a state thats supposed to be zero tolerance i can get every type of high i want with cannabis, and legal states can only use delta-9

It seems like a war! Its ALLLLL one or ALLLLLL the other. Very strange. And as delta-8 is even weaker than its cousin, delta-9, by about 30%, pot legal states wont sell it. There's something here and it needs to be explored. Just my thoughts on it as a bonafide O.G. grower smoker.
