I have something from the archives that I haven't shared but once - that I can think of. This was originally recorded for COF (I'm pretty sure) who liked the song. I believe he was actually after a CCR song, but ended up with me recording this John Foggerty piece:

CynicalOldFart, from old Voat. He wasn't a musician that shared his music, he was our archivist and so much more.

We lost him to cancer a couple of years back and I will not let him be forgotten.

He's still mentioned in the hidden meta data on almost every song we share. The missus used to leave him comments hiding in the meta data (where there are things like track name, artist name, etc...) and we still do that.

9 ball. $100 a rack. I ran three to get it started as I won the break on the lag.

We're playing slow with some chat between games. I did lose two but that's due to not paying attention and maybe drinking more than I should.

So, I'm back to $500 up.

He's drinking almost that much alcohol, so it's a wash at the end of the day!

Nah, I'll still end up way ahead.

We're moving to 8 ball and I'll spot him a few balls to let 'em feel better. I don't wanna toot my own horn, but this old man can play some pool.

I offered him straight pool at $5 a ball, but he declined. He'd learn more that way.

We had a pool table way back at the prep school. I've been an avid student ever since.

It's also one of those things you find in bars. As a musician, I've spent a lot of time in bars.

My table is in perfect condition, which means the only thing that matters is your skill level. There are no excuses. I love 'billiard games'.

I seldom play pool against someone unless there's money on the game. As I like to say, "I don't give lessons for free."

It's a good hobby. I've played in all sorts of tournaments. I was even in a league for a while, but that took up too much time during a period where I didn't have much time. I've literally been able to eat (and drink) because of being able to play pool.

We're getting nailed with what's left of Hurricane Lee and having a Nor'easter to boot.

The winds are gusting up to 60+ mph sometimes, which is epic. I have mains power still. I do not know how. The scanner tells me that there are outages all over the place, trees down and blocking all sorts of roads.

If the mains power goes out, I'm probably going to hop in the truck to do some recon. I might also be able to help someone, but I also like knowing what routes are available to me.

By all rights, I should not have mains power or an internet connect. Fucked if I know why, but I have both.

I don't actually need mains power (as you know), but I do still have it.

Ehhh... I, personally, don't plan to. But I'm open if anyone else ever wanted to work with the tracks. I can hold a note, but my voice isn't particularly special. I'm okay at lyrics... so, if I had a willing singer, I'd work with them.
