Now you're asking me to speculate but I'll humor it.

If there's land beyond Antarctica, they could be hiding it. It could be full resources. This would affect their bottom dollar considering they own all the resources we know of. I know people wouldn't put up with the One world government "globalist" bullshit.

It could have some major implications on spirituality and the meaning of life. They tell us we're an insignificant accident that happened on an insignificant rock flying through an infinitely vast vacuum of space. What if you found out that we're at the center of a smaller creation and we're only ones? I bet you'd do some soul searching if that were the case.

Those are my 2 reasons. Greed and fear of losing power.
