I used to live on the edge of the rust belt in PA. Or maybe in it. Those old factories (and coal mines) are amazing to explore. Concrete steps worn down from millions of footsteps over the years. Empty cavernous rooms filled with massive old equipment that just sits there rusting away.

It's a lesson in the risks of living ones life as an employee.

As for economic depression, the auto workers union is about to crush the auto industry. I see huge swarms of rust on the horizon. All that will be nothing in comparison once they successfully make the dollar worth less.
