I've accidentally fell into a porcelain pit of wet freezing balls once or twice but I had no one else to blame but myself, as do those harpies who continually crow about it.

I've gotten into the habit of intently inspecting my temporary throne before each use. I've caught scorpions, camel-spiders, and other such vermin before and I've never gotten over the need for a quick inspection. It takes a total of 3-5 seconds in good light.

A simple glance to see if the lid is down should be so dead-simple even a women could do it.

But they don't.

And they'll bitch about it, forever, because they need to bitch about something.

Grew up with pets that would enjoy drinking from the toilet or playing with the toilet water.

To me, putting seat and lid down after you're done is no different than closing the refrigerator door.
