Thinking about removing voting

Not enough people engage with the voting system and it causes more problems than anything, so I am thinking about removing it. Posts could be ranked by comments or clicks or something else. What's your opinion on this?

Maybe make a column for number of views so people can sort by it or set it as their default front but I wouldn't remove voting.

I'd consider ways that any fix could be exploited (if any are possible) by SBBH fucks, and the like first.

I like the idea of showing who does and doesn't like shit. I can see how it would discourage lurkers from voting, but it will definitely add transparency as to who's doing what. I personally think lurkers should get in the game, it'd be nice to hear something from y'all. I can also see how that would get complicated. Maybe if it was just the first ten or so people that voted on a particular submission or comment?
