The bigger issue is this. If the city said hey we are going to tax your property to pay for your neighbors house to be fixed up people would have lost their fucking minds!
But it's even worse then that you are paying taxes to educate your fucking rivals your enemies kids so they can take your kids fucking jobs! It was sold as we need a better education force or everyone needs education<<< aka indoctrination and socialism our education system is at the root of all our problems and it needs to be ended now!
Why in the fucking world am I paying for other people's kids to be educated to compete against my kids then me being white and them being brown they get unfair advantages the entire way up until literaly our goverment is saying we are only going to appoint a black fucking woman to congress!
originally property taxes were the ONLY tax. Also only male property owners could vote. So paying taxes were how you got to vote, which made sense. literally no taxation with out representation.

That standard was created because they knew that only White land-owning males put more into the system than they took out. If you word it that way, "only those who put in more than they take out can vote" you will end up with almost entirely White men voting.
Though there's a load of problems with modern voting.

I just got my tax coupons yesterday. I live in limited property tax state, but (((they))) figured out how to get around the limit. My taxes are 400 per year, the fees attached are 3500. There are places that have no property taxes, Monaco, Turks and Cacaos, and the Caymans. There are also countries like Italy that have taxes, but do not take your land if you owe taxes, just do not provide government services till you are current. I have some property in Italy, and hope to buy a little place in Monaco, or the Caymans (depending on how bad the WEF fucks us) soon.
I have never considered any *taxas* before now... yes I know it's a typo... I'm still running with this bit.
On a more relevant note: In a paradise world, you could just put a fence around what you claim is yours. If somebody has a dispute with it, you can hash it out by whatever means necessary. "My land, fuck you."
But unfortunately we live in a democratic republic that has been subverted throughout history, like making a beach one grain of sand at a time. They will send whatever force against you as necessary to steal what is yours. They should not have that power. At the top levels of government are the puppets of greed, holding puppet strings all the way down. They'll try any reason you'll tolerate and some you won't; to make you more of a slave to the masters. The idea of charging you for just existing on your own physical space, a natural territory like every other mammal, is a crime against humanity. Some may call that uncivilized, and to those jews I give you the finger.
Because the government routinely seizes property, and then offers it for auction (which raises the price of land in desirable areas), the net effect is as property value increases, so do the taxes, which make it more likely they'll seize properties, which they can auction. It's an inflation machine and the government gets the candy while you get stuck paying off a mortgage for the next 20 years, as well as that property tax.
There are some states without property taxes, I'm sure you could Google it. IIRC New Hampshire is one? I know some East coast states like NJ, CT, MA, etc. have insane property tax. It's almost 10x what it is here in MN, and they definitely don't get any better services than we do. It's just money to fund more government.
