I turned mine off and put it in an aluminum lined lunch bag hoping it acts like a faraday cage in case of some NWO upgrade

They work. Also I wouldn't trust a ten year battery. Sounds like somebody is planning some "inconsistencies" and a recall in the near future with that one. Whats cheaper? Lifelong and future dependants payments or a one time settlement?
