Twitter is the ultimate platform for things that can't be confirmed. Elon Musk should have realized that the problem with twitter being a danger to rationality was not that biased people controlled it, but that it exists at all. The structure of a website effects the strategies various parties use who compete for power. The structure of twitter makes the strategy push out unconformable bullshit.

Maybe the claim is true. But it's also filmed by Muslims and is about 5 seconds long. I refuse to accept information in a form that will make it easier for people to lie to me whether this particular instance is a lie or not.

The fact that we just saw this means that we all at a minimum know someone who knows someone who knows someone who uses twitter for that link to have reached us. That's just not acceptable. I'd rather keep about 9 degrees of separation between me and anyone who uses twitter.
