It's like looking into an alternate universe or something. Like, I'm just left wondering what things would be like if the US was just White Christians.
And get to be fucked by the VA. Father-in-Law was a Navy guy. Used the VA for most of his services. Kept having pain in his lower back. Repeated trips to the VA with just a "Here take these pain killers, there's nothing that can be done about it". Went to a private doctor only to learn he had stage 4 prostate cancer. Dead 8 months later. Many such cases.
Back in the 80's I was in C/3/10th SFG(A) at Ft. Devens, MA. There were only 2 black "team guys" in my whole battalion, and they were both "good dudes", VN vets, and even more redneck than some of the White guys.
But I was also an SFQC instructor back during the Clinton administration, and (((somebody))) noticed the lack of diversity in Rangers and SF. So they started asking what was keeping niggers out of SF.
1) The 110 minimum GT score (same as was required for OCS) So they lowered that to give niggers a better chance at meeting an even lower minimum standard.
2) The mandatory pass swim test. So they kept the swim test, but only as an "evaluation" to see who couldn't swim. They let them continue anyway, saying, "We'll just teach them to swim later." Then they just "forgot" about that part.
3) Instructors were upholding the actual performance standards in both selection and training. So you make sure that the instructors are quietly pulled aside and informed that there is also an unspoken "unofficial standard" that will only apply to niggers and that if you fail a nigger on anything you will get called on the carpet and get raked over the coals and have it explained to YOU, in detail how it was all YOUR fault, because YOU failed to train the precious nigger properly to standard so he could pass.
Results? An influx of barely capable niggers in special operations. So you have to find staff support positions to put them in because they are next to useless on a team.
And so here we are.
(Side note: My last duty position before retiring was as an 18Z Team sergeant. I had a team full of nothing but "switched-on" White Men, and frankly, it was one of the easiest jobs I ever had. The team practically ran itself. All I had to do was give mission-type instructions, provide general oversight, run interference between my guys and the "headshed", keep the "good idea fairy" from taking any shits on Dai Uy's head, and keep the team's evals and cert paperwork up to date. Got through our last deployment without losing anybody, so life was good.)
