Another one bites the dust.
Even the very name name was prophetic, as "Jezebel" is the Anglicized trans-literation of the hebrew אִיזֶבֶל ʾĪzeḇel, which is best understood as meaning, 'Where is the Prince?' (אֵיזֶה בַּעַל 'ēyze ba'al), a ritual cry from worship ceremonies in honor of Baal.
And Jezebel was eventually thrown from a window to her death, her corpse was trampled by Jehu's horse, and then eaten by stray dogs, just as the prophet Elijah had prophesied (2 Kings 9:33–37).
A fitting end to both her and her online namesake. Nothing of value was lost in either case.
