Ravens, crows, currawongs, the family Corvidae are all very cool, they are my favourite birds.

Me too. I saw 3 ravens in a tree in my neighbors yard the other day. One of them made a sound like clackers banging together, you know like those kids toys. Then it made this odd clickclickclickclick sound. I've never heard one do that. It was pretty cool.

He has Jesses on his raven.

Jesses are the leather straps around the legs of trained raptors.
Possible to do because unlike every other bird, they have solid bone legs (their feet are their weapons)

Seeing a pair of Jess on a raven appears irresponsible
