What's really going on with the chickens?

submitted by registereduser to conspiracy 1.6 yearsNov 16, 2023 19:15:36 ago (+20/-0)     (conspiracy)

Sam's club has cooked whole chickens for less than 5 bucks.

A two pack of uncooked chickens is close to 20 bucks.

Around twice the price for uncooked.

What are they putting in the cooked chickens that they don't want you to know about but are willing to take such a huge financial hit on?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The cooked ones are cooked because they are about to expire, and they'd rather take a small loss than a large one. It's not a conspiracy, it's best practices.

Adding that it might also be a loss leader to attract customers who most likely will buy other things.

No. They are not chickens about to expire. It's a marketing tool to get people in the store. That's why they're in the back.

I was a fan of rotisserie chickens up until I got food poisoning for the first time.

You don’t ever forget it. About 4 hours after consumption, I was met by a gradual increase in nausea up until I was exploding on both ends confined to the bathroom floor. How funny, I had finally quit drinking yet found myself more hungover than I’d ever been the following day.

And that’s why I will never eat rotisserie chicken again.

Not sure how I managed live through this but I once ate a whole chicken I had left in the van overnight then for lunch. Within an hour driving all of a sudden I barely made it off the road I was so fucn spinning with nausea. I puked and got back in the van to simply park better in some tiny family run amusement park in the Rockies. Then I barely stumbled made it along this path and guess what it was..The path to the most glorious outhouse in the history of outside shitterer buildings. I thought I was in heaven or that somehow this proved God's existence I was sooo thankful. Even had toilet paper, in rolls ffs. So I lay down puking like poisoned puking then would get up rush inside back n forth all day for at least 8 hours kept my dignity though didn't shit myself. I swear if a bear would have come by, which I was completely freaked would happen, I was a legit goner. Completely drunk sick. I have never been sick like that.
I still eat rotisserie chicken but just don't leave it in a van in summer where it gets to 125f inside.

However, 145F or higher is absolutely fine. ;)

Try getting food poisoning from Mexican food.

Pissin water from both ends for 12hrs.

Only time I ever got food poisoning was from french food in france. Fucking duck nearly killed me. I shat all over their fancy castle bathrooms for 2 days after.

Food poisoning or alcohol withdrawal?

[ - ] Trope 0 points 1.6 yearsNov 17, 2023 00:25:40 ago (+0/-0)

Food poisoning. Never drank to such a point where I would face withdrawal.

[ - ] HatefulHomelessMan 1 point 1.6 yearsNov 17, 2023 02:01:44 ago (+1/-0)

I have to drink liqour for about 3 weeks before I start suffering withdrawels, so I just keep my benders under 2 weeks.

My chickens only hang out in the side yard these days. I don't know what their deal is with that.

Sam's club is gross and gay and I would never go there. Sam is a faggot.

The chickens are hanging out where the food is.
There has probably been a hatch of some kind of insect and the chickens are eating them.

All the chickens are from tyson. Within hours of death, they become so putrid their legs will separate from their body. But ya know, it is probably ok to eat.

Well first off, they are pumped full of chemical waste. But, the reason they are so cheap is “loss leader”. You aren’t going to Sam's club or Costco and standing in line for a five dollar chicken. You will spend much more than that and they know it. Same with the $1.50 hot dog and drink.

Don't eat shit you can easily raise.
My free range herd exceeds 75 and I have great layers.
Wonderful yellow fat on my birds.
Yolks bright orange like the sun.

I was told sams sells all their food at cost or close to it. All to keep people shopping and spending. Makes sense.

There’s no money in food, especially prepared food.

[ - ] Inward 1 point 1.6 yearsNov 16, 2023 22:42:17 ago (+1/-0)

Where are those cooked chickens? The back of the store. Why? They take a loss on the chickens to get you in the store, to walk past everything in the store, so you buy other stuff.

[ - ] White_Pride_Cis 0 points 1.6 yearsNov 16, 2023 23:24:35 ago (+0/-0)

The rotisserie chicken is phenomenal btw

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 1.6 yearsNov 17, 2023 05:36:31 ago (+0/-0)

Keeping chicken that low during thanksgiving makes sense. It's probably the only way to move meat during this time of year, when ham, and turkey are flying off the shelves.
