I may have some bad news for them. Kids are already more media savvy these days than their teachers, and that everything is either "fake" or "gay" or both.

And now they want to shove crap down their throats and try to convince them it's ice cream?

If past performance is any indicator, there's a very good chance that this requirement will just have the exact opposite effect of what (((they))) think it will, and the very first thing the kids will "recognize and think critically about" will be the curriculum and the teachers themselves.
