I've got a couple 1911's in 45 and I love them, but my Ruger 1911 9mm is a real doll and a lot less bulky, also, after 8-10 hrs of packing you really notice the weight difference between a fully loaded 9 and a 45, it's like a 10lb brick being removed from your shoulder...but the 45 will make a mess of body mass
