I saw a story on this. For $1 million they could plant enough trees to do the same thing

Who's going to bilk the taxpayer(White men) of their money then?

Buhh wee hassuh houses smallink!

Also think of the resources needed to build that facility.

Planting trees doesn't really do anything.
All of the CO2 a tree takes in is re-released when the leaves fall, and when the tree dies or burns.

The only way to get rid of CO2 is to turn it into methane. The methane then decays and it is gone forever.
Methane starts to decay immediately and is completely gone in a little over 7 years. While CO2 can last for hundreds of years.

Troll? Methane is a worse greenhouse gas than CO2 and "decays" into CO2. Earth's oxygenation caused such decay and as a result earth froze to the equator for a million years.

Yeah I don't think he has any idea what he's talking about. Probably got his science from a jew.

Trees produce O2

[ - ] x0x7 1 point 1.4 yearsNov 23, 2023 01:21:19 ago (+1/-0)

They also consume it. Your grade school only told you about one half of the equation because they wanted to push their eco-bullshit. Trees have two processes, one where they produce energy consume CO2 and release oxygen, and one where they do the opposite. Trees gather energy with the intention of using it so it's pretty close to equal. Once the tree collapses and rots all the energy it accumulated is consumed and the CO2-O2 difference it generated is consumed with it.

For a tree to actually capture carbon permanently it needs to get caught in a landslide or get buried in a bog.

Who gives a fuck about permanently, plant a shit ton of trees and capture carbon for a hundred years or more. The trees will die off slowly at a natural pace as they replace themselves with saplings. Your argument doesn't really hold up unless the entire forest burns down and even then, that's nothing compared to one volcanic eruption. The CO2 debate is retarded mental gymnastics

jews come up with these money pits. oy vey I wonda who makes the filta's?

[ - ] Clubberlang 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 19:59:09 ago (+2/-0)

Oyyyyyy Veyyyy moshe! Gefilta ov coors!

[ - ] green_man 1 point 1.4 yearsNov 23, 2023 01:07:14 ago (+1/-0)

Sure, it's a money pit for you and me, but it's a money machine for the jew. Climate scams like cap and trade based on co2 pseudoscience will generate massive demand for "co2 credits" (or whatever they're called), and the jew will be ready to sell you those government mandated co2 credits at 666%+ of cost.

[ - ] observation1 3 points 1.4 yearsNov 23, 2023 00:21:55 ago (+3/-0)

So a pyramid scheme

[ - ] Not_C 3 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 20:09:16 ago (+4/-1)

That's it. I'm done with being honest.

Let's take a massive amount of government money and build a huge facility like this with a bunch of fancy flashing lights and high tech looking equipment that does fuck all.

Then we'll claim that we're removing a million toms of CO2 from the air.

No one would call our bluff. How could they? We'd just claim we trapped all the CO2 underground, or that we broke the molecular bond and released it back into the atmosphere.
And if they did try to call our bluff, we'd just call them wacky climate change deniers.

Who's with me?

[ - ] NaturalSelectionistWorker 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 23:42:18 ago (+2/-0)

let's take a massive amount of government money

I think you have to be jewish to do that.

[ - ] Clubberlang 3 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 19:56:51 ago (+3/-0)

::uninvited guy attending sales pitch to well funded normies::

fart

Did you catch that?

[ - ] DeborahBirxesCunt 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 23, 2023 03:42:21 ago (+2/-0)

They're gonna sell the CO2 to oil companies to pump into wells to make oil less viscous and thus easier to extract. This is an pro-oil play masquerading as hippie shit.

[ - ] registereduser 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 22:29:06 ago (+3/-1)

If you care about the future the psychopaths need to be eliminated with extreme prejudice.

C02 levels have historically been as much as 10,000 PPM or more.

During times of much higher than now C02 levels life thrived far more.

During the last Ice Age, which we are still exiting BTW, C02 levels got a low as 180 PPM.

If C02 gets below 150 PPM life on earth is over. Done.

If these psychopaths are allowed to lock up C02 in masse, there may not be enough free C02 in reserve to get through the next Ice Age.

C02 levels are not high now, at all. Below 500 PPM we in fact are at an extremely dangerously low level.

C02 is plant food, which in turn is animal food, which in turn is people food.

These psychopaths are literally trying to destroy life on earth. All of it, permanently.

They should all be dragged out into the street and butchered for crimes against humanity and life itself.

live on earth is over

Pretty sure that's the point of what blackrock is doing.

[ - ] RabbiKinderschtupper 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 20:44:51 ago (+2/-0)

Imagine what the trees they cut down to build it could have done

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 20:09:36 ago (+2/-0)

Um? Plant a tree maybe?

[ - ] Nosferatjew 2 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 19:12:03 ago (+2/-0)

I bet planting trees is a lot cheaper.

[ - ] NaturalSelectionistWorker 0 points 1.4 yearsNov 22, 2023 23:40:36 ago (+0/-0)

Should have just planted some trees. But it's blackrock, they don't actually want a healthy ecosystem.
