I've never been able to think of a good Thanksgiving song for the thread. I mean, I could do Alice's Restaurant but it's largely repeating the same few bars over and over again for 30ish minutes. That's not very fun.

I like the Zeppelin idea. I try to avoid covering Bon Jovi if I can help it.

This last bit is because I've played so much Bon Jovi. I can play every instrument for Wanted: Dead or Alive in my sleep.

I think I might build a few mini/portable amps and see if I can't sell them for around 1,000% profit. The parts are few and the circuits are dirt simple. Should be a good way to make some cash for the rest of the holidays.

I like the color. It looks fairly universal, like you should be able to get the tones you want out of it.

My first impression is that it is a masterwork instrument, but does not sound like what I was expecting out of a high end stratocaster.

It's like it is another animal, entirely. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.

I have a number of similar guitars. Give it some time. I like that the bridge pickup is a humbucker (does it split or tap?) and not as bright as a single coil in that same position.

The S-1 connects all the combinations in series or parallel, which ever you prefer, so you can make it sound like a Les Paul(ish), even, or others.

My only complaint, so far, is that it doesn't have as much punch as I'd like with the bridge and middle, together. But, we'll see what it sounds like out of a Hot Rod Deluxe. Might fix that just right.

If it's a Master Built, I'd not be too surprised to find push-pull pots for splitting the humbucker. That's a great feature. More folks need to offer it.

The reason I shared that today was cause last night a fat woman friend of one of my friends wife came knocking at my door. Out of the blue. I let her in and we sat down and I asked her what's up. She tell me that she has heard about me and my woman breaking up, and she wants to know why I like skinny pretty women and why I don't like fat chick's. I said it's my nature. I can't help it.
