I've had two border collies. It's all ill ever own. They're smart and want to be productive. They are the opposite of niggers and the opposite of nigger-dog pittbulls.

Best dogs I've ever had. I see no reason to get a different breed in the future.

I've found Australian Shepherds to be of the same nature - smart and job-seeking - but they tend to be able to "turn off" a little better than BC's, and they're more affectionate generally with their masters. Both excellent breeds; I'd be happy to have either. I'd lean toward BC for a dedicated farm dog, and lean toward Aussie for farm/companion breed. Though working with any dog will build companionship, Aussies are hands-down the best dog I've ever had (though I was mostly raised with bird hunting dogs).
