I don’t understand. My family doesn’t participate in any Jewish enforced traditions. We do activities like sledding, skiing, looking at lights, having feasts, baking culturally significant treats such as abelskivers, and play games.

In Norway we still call the holiday by its original name, which is 'Jul'(Yule in English). It is much older than Christianity.
