I own land which I trade to a rancher for 1 steer per year. 1 death feeds my family and extended family with beef for a year.
The steer lives a good life (with it's mother for 2 years) and then is driven 15 miles down the road to a slaughter house. Native grass (no fertilizer) and rain water is all that is required.
If I were to grow crops, I'd have to pump water from the aquifer, fertilize, drop herbicides, etc. Terrible for the land, creek, and broader local ecosystem.
this ones good aswell. he is smart and asks very precise question, and has an ability to make the other guy relax and open up. i dont watch him because of him, but if a person that i am interested in has talked with Joe Rogan, i am delighted to find that video because i know that i will get a lot of good information out of it.
i'll pass. i don't know who that is. and if they're on a famous person's webcast then it's certain jew-approved. i'll focus on my sphere of influence thanks

The flaw in this argument is, yes, hunting only kills one thing, but if you are eating raised livestock then the livestock is vegan and you are harvesting and treating more total fields.
I'm not an environmentalist by any means but that argument is retarded. Cows take up a shit ton of land to produce. The feed lots and slaughterhouses also use land.
How about we just hang hippie faggots instead of arguing semantics?
Bull shit. (Literately and figuratively speaking. ;) )
Maybe if you are trying to raise cattle in AZ or NV. Where I live in TX, the standard is 1 cow+calf per 7 acres. In more nutrient rich states (IN, ID, etc.), the native grasses have a higher carrying capacity.
The feed lots and slaughterhouses also use land.
Yes, feedlots use land. (Slaughter houses almost nothing.) But, you are incorrect to assume a feed lot is required.
Those are nasty evil places. I don't use one. I slaughter a steer annually for my family and extended family. My steer is raised on the land and travels 15 miles to a slaughter house.
...but that argument is retarded
This is something I've spent years studying ... sadly, I'm passionate about this topic. Happy to go on if you are interested.

Bull shit. (Literately and figuratively speaking. ;) )
It's not lol
Sheep and chickens are many more times efficient per acre. Fisheries even more so. Cattle farming is not an efficient way to raise meat. 7 acres is more like 15 and I bet you feed in the colder months. That alfalfa has to be grown.
Not like you even know that much to begin with considering you hire spics to do all the actual work like any Texan rancher I've ever met...
To be clear - I'm not a 'real' rancher. I wouldn't dare to claim to be one. Just a dirty capitalist land owner who happens to be tangentially involved in the cattle business.
Must be a real small time operation
Yes! Absolutely. Is that a bad thing? I work with a local producer who runs ~300 head. He and his son do everything. I've spent ample time visiting his operations. He is proud of what he does and I respect his craft.
I rent him 100 acres in return for 1 steer. A couple of good ol' white boys. For ~20 years, only a handshake is needed for anything we do. Fixing fences, trading steers, transport, dealing with insurance, etc. We honor what we say, and that's good enough.
He makes $$ off of me (he can run 12-15 cows+calves off of my land.) And, I get high quality beef, plus excellent land management. It's a fair deal.
Not to sound like a damn hippy, but I'm happy that I can feed my extended family without poisoning the land and without borrowing from tomorrow. Every year, the land is healthier than the last. Point being ... In my less-than-humble opinion ... this is the right way to do land management and food production. Walmart _might_ give me a 3-7% better price. But, fuck that noise. I'm a dirty capitalist who recognizes that long term profits may require a marginalization of short term profits.
I assume you are a 100% city-dweller. A cow grasses on a large field and when it gets big enough, it's slaughtered and you get a shit ton of beef which is the tastiest substance on the planet. Nothing at all happens to the smaller animals living in that field, unless they are large predators. In many places (Argentina/Uruguay come to mind) there are no predators and huge natural grasslands. It doesn't get much more environmentally friendly than that.
You couldn't be more wrong. Cows tear up the land and drive off other animals like varmints. It's not the worst thing in the world but to say there's no impact is just ridiculous. Especially in drier areas like most of Texas. Nobody's arguing beef is tasty. I'm arguing that it's an inefficient form of meat production which it is. Raising lamb is much less resource intensive.
Lamb used to be the biggest meat consumed in America pre war for this reason. You can get mad all you want, I'm not on a crusade against ranchers but I'll definitely call out their tough guy bullshit. Farmers and ranchers love to make all these bold claims then secretly use Monsanto chemicals and hire spics to do everything lmao
I wasn't arguing that cattle was particularly efficient as a meat production method but simply stating that the fields where they live don't have to be continually cleansed from life. Whether things like varmints are scared off depends on the density of the cattle on that field. Obviously, grass fed cattle isn't sustainable with the increasing global population, but that's a different discussion.
Cattle farming is fine if we remove all the non whites from this planet. There is plenty of room for whites to eat all the beef we want. Problems arise from assuming beef can be produced for all the shit skins. I buy a brisket almost every week lol

I know nothing about sheep. My chickens are also very efficient ... I don't give them any feed except Jan-Mar.
So presumptive. I admire your arrogance.
So ignorant. But, that's OK. I was like you 15 years ago. We all have to start somewhere. (Zero feed given, if you are asking.)
Never hired a 'spic'. Happy to meet you. :) But, maybe I'm not a 'real' Texas rancher ... Maybe that's my problem.
