....but it's over and as it turns out the wife has Pneumonia, I forget what her oxygen intake was but she was pretty much deprived of what's required and it had her immobilized for the last few days...but the meds kicked in and at least she's moving around.
Being all day without her I said to her "I'm so miserable without you it's like having you here"...I don't like seeing her in pain but C'est La Vie.

Yep, it's why they are considered 'essential vitamins'.
Everyone should also add (organic) Magnesium and (triple strength purified) Fish oil. Easy to also have all the various vitamin levels checked via twice yearly blood serum draws to monitor any deficiencies.
My young sons take these every day. I take a more extensive daily regimen, because i'm old (lol) and have had a previously somewhat reckless hard drug-influenced lifestyle and my cortisol, adrenals and hormone levels are still all messed up from both drugs and years of Doctors ssri pharmas.
Having said that, I still spent many hours on Christmas Eve in my local hospital's emergency department with my mother-in-law because she came down with Shingles. I don't see how that needs an ED visit, but it's her money. Shingles will not kill her but the hospital's billing department might. LOL.
@Leveraction...re symptoms, zero energy, totally drained out with chest pain and unable to inhale deep without coughing, also heavy phlegm and when laying down she said that it felt like she was drowning...she was having sensory changes too, she had the taste of potato chips for a few days...and heavy thirst. What I never mentioned was that she has aviary where she spends a lot of time and I told her that bird molt is not good for the lungs, same as chicken coops, there's a type of anthrax miasma that is known to cause problems and I think that's where the problems started but then again there's so many people out there that are having bouts of pneumonia which I find strange...but I've got no problems and no vax vex...she was giving me shit about the woodstove but that's not what led to this...myself, I think the birds had something to do with this but that's only a guess...Im just glad she's feeling better....she put up with the symptoms for a good week but two days ago she was a mess and something had to be done...I had 4 antibiotics that I had for a tooth problem and she took those the day before going to the hospital and they took effect within hrs and that's when she knew that it was the meds she needed...also, she was incoherent and couldn't focus but being totally drained of energy was a sign of something serious...if you're having heavy liquid build up in your lungs and wheezing a lot and your energy is low then you may want to get a handle on it. Take care.
Thank you zyclonbeekeeper! Yea, unfortunately what you're describing is extremely close to what I'm experiencing. Hmm, sure as hell don't want to hang out at the hellspital.

There is a time when it is wise to seek medical attention. It has gotten so much better than it was 2 1/2 years ago when my best friend’s wife went to the hospital with pneumonia in both lungs and was diagnosed with coronavirus and was told that they couldn’t treat the pneumonia because it would make coronavirus worse. That tough girl got over pneumonia on her own without the anabiotic’s.

Low Oxygen, eh? Here's the helpful trick to get her quickly back to normal.
First, go to Walmart and buy an O2 sensor. They fit on a finger and are not expensive.
Then have her sit in a chair at a desk or the table. Have her put her arms on the surface with the arms crossed, making a triangle (arms to elbows). Have her lean forward putting her head down and to just relax. Check her O2 at the start and then after 15 minutes. (Just fine for her to take a nap.) Her O2 will be greatly improved. Doing this a few times a day and she'll be back to normal in no time and you'll have an O2 sensor to prove it.
I did this while in a hospital. After my quadruple by-pass, my O2 was very low, 75% to 80% for two weeks. After five days of the triamgle position trick, I stayed at 97% and got to go home.
Twice now right before thanksgiving I've gotten pneumonia / bronchitis / strep throat. RIGHT ON QUEUE exactly one week before thanksgiving it started.
We tend to take a 4 day trip out of thanksgiving and to be honest at this point I can not really bare how difficult 4 days out your routine, and diet with strep / bronchitis.

Most people who go to ICU are very deficient.
I take 10,000 IU a day because the rda is 8x too little because of a math error done by the researcher who set the rda.
You need more if you are overweight because vitamin d is distributed/diluted in your fat.
This is why more fat people die of diseases like flu.

You can monitor someone's O2 saturation with a digital pulse oximeter. They are available on Amazon. You might want to get 2 to make sure they match.
I bought an oxygen concentrator and some canulas from a CriagsList seller. It helps when someone's oxygen level is low.
Antibiotics are available from https://fishmoxfishflex.com/ I keep some around for emergencies.
