Imagine thinking you are going to get medical advice from strangers on the interwebs.
Take your explosive diarrea to San Francisco where you can have fun with it.

Stop eating for a day

To replace your liquids and electrolytes, have a tall glass of 1/3 orange juice, 2/3 water, and a bit less than 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.

Let your body empty out the bad and cook off whatever is left. Going to be a shitty few days...hydrate.

Ayup. Ensure you eat a little bit, with salt. Hence why chicken soup was used so often back in the day.

It takes 4-6 hours for food poisoning to take effect, not days.

[ - ] 2Drunk 1 point 1.4 yearsJan 1, 2024 22:38:25 ago (+1/-0)

It depends on what the offender is. If it's chemical it can be 30 minutes to 2 hours or more. Bacteria takes longer in most cases but it depends on the type and it's effect.

[ - ] anon 2580286 0 points 1.4 yearsJan 2, 2024 18:55:15 ago (+0/-0)

Maybe, but OP thinks they ate something days ago. Bacteria doesn’t take that long.

[ - ] anon 1439205 [op] 0 points 1.4 yearsJan 3, 2024 10:24:06 ago (+0/-0)

I did initially experience a low grade fever or headache and felt really weak initially the first two days
