The algo is great, it shows stuff I want, I can block shit if I want and then I get board after a few pages and do something else. I have not once spent hours and hours on this site regretting the loss of time. You could make the algo really addictive, but you havent. I appreciate you not being a predator towards your constituants.

So here me out. You post a lot on this site. A LOT. You get a dopamine hit when you do it. We know this because posting is your favorite hobby and I presume you are not getting paid. Well why would you put in the effort? The answer is dopamine.
You can absolutely create addictive environments for users by triggering dopamine releases. Companies do it all the time.
