No, seriously what the Japanese did to US Soldiers and Marines at Bataan during the death march was unforgivable and sealed their fate. This war was signed sealed and delivered as total surrender. Yep, it was going to end only one way and the Japanese people were going to suffer. And suffer they did. My only sadness is felt for the Okinawans who suffered terribly as Japan bought time for the home islands. The Japanese never gave a shit about the native Okinawans. Here is how bad it was, we rushed the development of the atom bombs just for a chance to drop them on the japs. We needed those bombs ready before the end of the war and rushed them to the pacific just for the opportunity to try them out on an enemy. Only to find out we really loved the Japanese people. Our occupation forces came home talking about how nice and lovable they were. God damn it!.
