Well, that is a serious offense. You do time for that offense.

That's also not a charge you want to have in prison, especially if it's against a child.

How much is his bail?

He does not have any bail yet. He has to face a judge tomorrow and the judge will set bail then

Also, a 911 is a riot in the snow.

And, we have another MAJOR storm coming on Wednesday. They're predicting similar results to the last big storm. That means days without internet 'cause the satellite system isn't back up and running.

Man... Verle is well and truly fucked. You might want to go see him, get a key to his apartment, and secure his stuff 'cause he probably doesn't know anyone who will cover the bail on this sort of charge.

Even if he's found innocent, he'll be considered a sex offender for life. Folks will always think of him as such, a rapist or kiddy-fondler. I at least hope the victim was an adult. I mostly hope he's truly innocent.

And, yeah, I have studded tires all around on the 911. That's my 'winter' car, instead of my usual Volvo 245. It's what I take out driving in the snow. In fact, I just got back from a drive with the son-in-law. I figured I'd take him out in the snow to show him a few driving tips. I let him drive for a while but he was too timid to really feed it the beans and chuck it sideways.

They're still clearing up the snow. There's not much left to clear, so we came home within an hour and a half.

We have a major storm coming on Wednesday.

They're predicting another major storm just a few days after that.

So, I hope you can remember when it's Friday, 'cause not even my satellite connection works. Fortunately, I've got family to keep me occupied if the 'net goes out.

I guess Verle will have court sometime this afternoon starting at 2:30 by video from inside the jail. Then the judge will set his bond and it will be updated on the jail webpage an hour or two later.

I bet that 911 with those tires is a total blast to drive on snowy roads!

We are expecting a storm to move in sometime after midnight tonight and dump on us all day Tuesday until at least a foot of snow been deposited on us, supposedly, according to the meterologists.

Verle has been released with all charges dismissed, the DA declined to prosecute. I am guessing that means the rape kit did not come up with the evidence against Verle they needed

I can not go see him unless I am on his visitor list and he would need my name and address and birthdate and I doubt he remembers all those details.
