Paul, most of us are happy to read such things. Many of those are homeless who die when taking fentanol or heroin. They go to sleep in a drug haze. For them, it's a sweet and painless death and finally, an escape from addiction. I have personally witness'd it. Why doesn't your story point that out you should ask yourself? Done't use google for a search as they lie and change the truth these days. Here's Yandex: "how many of the recent deaths due to colds are homeless people?" When you bump into homeless, you soon realize at least well over 90% are drug addicts.

The rest of us check on our neighbors when the power goes out, and it's true that a few folks who die are old and infirm. It happens for sure, especially with elderly who may not be social or mobil, but is not common compared to "houseless" deaths.
