It's roughly the same every year. 40 or so cops, federal, state, prison guards and puerto rico, die from gunfire. It's not enough to make them rethink how they treat the little people.

If we treated their families the way they treated ours things would change......or there would be a lot of lonely cops.

Factoid: Apocalypse now was greenlit for F.F. Coppola, utilizing the screenplay that eventually became Rambo: First Blood Part II.

Conjecture: The actual screenplay Coppola fleshed out, was written by Herman J. Mankiewicz for Orson Welles, who could not convince anyone to greenlight it; so, they switched to working on Citizen Kane.

There was one story I was reading about a guy went into a yuppie restaurant and killed a shitload of people and then dared the cops in and kilt as many of them as he could before they got him.

Almost sounds like the movie "Falling Down," but that's much different with him more surrendering to the cops and then getting taken out.

In the first Rambo book, it was more like the last Rambo movie. Rambo had dug tunnels all over the place under a town, and he was nuts. Rambo and the cop ended up killing each other.
