I've hit the jackpot with cucumbers. We have too many to eat. They are amazing things and their fruit grows so quickly. Never had any luck with them before 'cos my soil had been too heavy and wet.They love my hay (decomposed grass)/leaf mould mix (no dirt even)!

This article is absolutely comical. It isn't the plants that are bad, but the "infrastructure" of the garden. Not completely sure what that is, as it's not specifically defined.
This is just propaganda to justify forcing people to give up growing their own food. This way, it is easier to force the bugs down peoples throats.
