Guy murders girlfriendf's two year old toddler. Time served, just goes home. Judge fired, just goes home. That's justice, Oklahoma style.

So she holds herself to absolutely no standard whatsoever because she's human.

She'd already made up her childish little mind about the outcome.

We need to go back to community justice; lynchings. Get rid of the judges. Way too many are low IQ and have reversed morals

it's a jury trial, which means the jury determines the outcome, not the judge.

It doesn't matter. Judges still need to be alert to ensure that protocols and procedures are being followed accurately - holy fuck why am I arguing this?

I was on a murder jury before, and our judge's (female) job was to make sure procedure was followed, that was about it. I noticed it looked somewhat boring for her and she rarely spoke, except at the beginning and end of each session. So not too surprising this happened.
