I absolutely guarantee there will be exemptions for israelis and Chinese.
In fact, they probably wrote this to keep small time landowners out

More retard (((legislation))) that does opposite of what it says.

That's exactly what will happen. The Inflation Reduction Act was about pumping billions of liquid currency into the economy which even a child could tell you will wreck prices. They always do this. It's similar to how liberals push themselves as compassionate crusaders for justice and goodness, but are really just a bunch of hedonistic perverts with mental illnesses.

Corporations weren't supposed to last forever either yet here we are with immortal soulless billionaire entities with human rights

immortal soulless billionaire entities with human rights

I keep hearing this argument and it's really one way if I look at it from a neutral perspective. If you don't want corporations to have human rights then why are you taxing them like they are? Ohhh that's right, you don't mind treating corporations like humans then do you because then you can get them to pay for all the things you want.

If you're taxed by a nation then you should have rights in that nation. I doubt many of you will agree with me but then your argument is pretty much I wants dat stuff n' dem eebul rich gon' pay fo' eet!.

[ - ] NoRefunds 2 points 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 09:59:06 ago (+2/-0)

They're not taxed like humans, stupid asshole, they are taxed far less and have many methods to defer taxes or use losses vs what we have rights to do. Also, we aren't supposed to be taxed for our income anyway. Corporate charters used to have to be renewed and demonstrate a public service. Now these fuckers can come in from overseas and buy our assets and use losses to buy more assets. Fuck them and fuck you.

Lol, I'm the "stupid" one. You might want to rethink that and learn who actually pays the taxes in this nation.

Dude I work for a renewable energy company, you fucking idiot. We have lost $9-15m per year since 2015 and it doesn't fucking matter because we are on the loss sheet for our parent company. We can keep buying farm land and developing it into poison solar farms because it doesn't fucking matter how much we lose, it is written off. Fucking kill yourself, stupid swine.

Housing should not be an investment vehicle. Immigration is a huge contributing factor to this mess.

[ - ] FreeinTX 1 point 1.3 yearsFeb 17, 2024 22:15:24 ago (+3/-2)

Agreed.

There should also be a cap on the number of rental units a single entity can own, also.

Globohomo wants us living in pods, owning nothing. Not even the pods.

[ - ] Doglegwarrior 1 point 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 11:33:39 ago (+1/-0)

More regulations!!! That will solve our problems

[ - ] SteppingRazor 0 points 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 12:28:24 ago (+0/-0)

Map out all corp investment homes and fill them with squatters. The problem would be fixed immediately.

This was interesting until

"During the pandemic, this resulted in widespread vaccine hesitancy on the political right, which cost hundreds of thousands of lives. Politics — not “misinformation” — was the problem here.

Medicine’s love affair with radical politics compromises individual patient outcomes, as well."

No politics saved millions of Republicans from.getting the fucking vaccine if trump wasn't a retard the entire lie could have been exposed.

a) Temporary (life) within ongoing (inception towards death) implies transient...not resident.

b) Tempting others through spell-craft to ignore perceivable (transient) for suggested (resident) implies corporation aka corpus oration aka uttering of death.

c) UT'TER, adjective - "situated on the outside or remote from the center"...being implies center (life) within circumference (inception towards death). Anything suggested by one another implies uttering/utter/outer; which tempts one to ignore self (inner).

d) "be allowed" implies being within all owing another. Seeking permission from another puts oneself in debt to another, with debt implying the suggested burden one takes on with ones consent to it.

e) To buy (ones consent) and sell (suggested by another) tempts one to ignore being evaluation (perception) within value (perceivable) wielding the "free" will of choice to ignore perceivable value (reality) for suggested values (fiction), which one permits others to evaluate for one.

One cannot buy or sell nature without ignoring that one cannot own nature, while being a partial within whole of it.

In short...the words others suggest imply "corporation"; ones consent to it implies "manipulation".

Manipulation implies a) to manage by mental influence and b) MANI (manual) within TION (action; motion; auto) being PULA (pulled; tempted) by others.

Why cant people build more houses?

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 1 point 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 09:57:00 ago (+1/-0)

Regulations and taxes.

[ - ] Sector2 0 points 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 12:52:29 ago (+0/-0)

We're already so overfull that all housing built after 2000 should be torn down and the land restored to its original condition. The people living in them should be expelled or exterminated after they're finished removing their corruptions.

Just ban kikes from kiking.

[ - ] ImplicationOverReason 0 points 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 11:19:39 ago (+0/-0)

Kike/kikel/circle...a jew erects self at center, while cutting off gentiles from circumference. Kike continues as long as gentiles orbit around jews aka utilizing circular reasoning against one another over suggested information from a jew.

Cities shouldn't be allowed to limit vrbo and airbnb as well. Thry also started taxing them to protect the hotel motel fucks

[ - ] firestation7 2 points 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 03:18:36 ago (+2/-0)

I live in a very rural area in Maine. On my road there are two airbnbs within half a mile from me. One is an old log cabin fit for a family of 5, the other is a newly built home that probably would comfortably fit a family of 5 as well. These are just ones that have come to my attention. They both charge between 5-800 per week. Those are affordable homes taken off the market so that the rich can get richer and home prices all around go higher, which deprives people like my family of affordable housing options. When we bought our house it was rent to own with owner financing. There are no homes like that in my area anymore.

Productive members of society should not be priced out of food, water, medical care, or shelter. I do not think any of those should be free but they should be cost controlled.

[ - ] Steelerfish 1 point 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 08:13:29 ago (+1/-0)

I couldn’t disagree more strongly. Airbnb/VRBO owners are WORSE than the corporate investment firms. t least they usually rent annually. Out here on the beaches in pinellas county, Fl single families have almost no chance to buy a house anymore. A typical house will be sold within a couple days when listed either sight unseen by investment companies- which target specific neighborhoods and have realtors proactively recruiting people to sell their house- or will immediately jump on one when listed and offer over cash value. The other issue is the airBnB and other vacation rental investors. In my neighborhood, there hasn’t been a family move in I since the Chinese/CIA bio weapon was unleashed. We have had over a dozen air bnBs pop up all of a sudden on my street and the one next to it. . With ONE exception (the house next door to us) we have no idea who owns them, no way for the owners to be accountable to their neighbors. They hide behind an LLC or similar. They do not care at all who they rent to as long as the check clears. The reaisents that have lived here for a long time have lost the feeling of a NEIGHBORhood. There are no kids for Halloween anymore- used to be quite a few as little as 5 years ago. Now it’s a new party every week. These people don’t care if they trash the area. They don’t care if their dogs shit in your yard. They don’t care if all of a sudden there are 12 people in one house with 10 different cars blocking the whole damned street. Sometimes 4-5 houses on the same little street rented at the same time with 30 cars trying to park where 10 fit.
They need to require permits for Airbnb and have severe fines and accountability for the owners for who they rent to. Owners need to be identifiable to the community. Owners shouldn’t be able to own half a street.the owners absolutely should pay the same taxes as the hotels. They should pay the same impact fees and commercial fees. They should have commercial insurance. The city needs to be able to shut them down if they repeatedly violate ordinances and common decency.

The “hotel motel fucks” as you ignorantly describe them (like a good socialist) are90% mom and pop establishments that have been in the community for decades. They are tied to the community and invested in it’s success and atmosphere. They are inspected and regulated. They won’t let their pool turn green and become a cesspool. They do maintenance on their property. Air Bob owners do none of these. They are a parasite to the business community. Yes, they bring in tourists, and 90% of the time there is no problem. But 10% of the time there are issues, and other than the police, there’s absolutely zero accountability.
How would you like a couple packs of feral niggers rent the house next to you and their dozen combined niglets screaming Ebonics gibberish all day and night and wandering through other peoples fenced in yards looking for shit to steal. I’ve had them hop our fence to use our pool- and get indignant when told to leave. “We paid a thousand dollars to rent the house next door. If we want to use your pool, there’s nothing in our paperwork saying we can’t”
Or trying to leave for work at 5:30 a, to find they asshole niggers parked their stolen car blocking my driveway and you have no idea which house the car belongs to.

FUCK AIRBNB. AND FUCK YOUR IGNORANCE OF WHAT THE LOCAL MOTELS AND HOTELS MEAN TO A DESTINATION COMMUNITY. I live on a beach that is consistently ranked in the top 5 in the country. The locals hate the vacation rentals. We also hate the mega corporate hotels. There is on,y 1 on our beach, thankfully. We keep them in check. We value the local establishments. They provide value. Unaccountable veiled owners do not- quite the opposite.

[ - ] Sector2 0 points 1.3 yearsFeb 18, 2024 12:56:19 ago (+0/-0)

You can't rent out a house that's uninhabitable. Be wary of doorbell cameras.
