My sons literally thi k every night is a Lan party. Oh well. We still go fishing. Have a swimming pool. A basketball net and a membership to indoor soccer.

Tbh I think it's fine, as long as they have some sort of rigorous sports. I was a swimmer/water polo player, hapkido and weight lifter. But also gamed my ass off. So I guess as long as there's physical activity balance it's fine. But fuck fortnite and it's woke in game politic bullshit seriously.

But family/friend Lan parties were some of the most fun shit I ever did with my friends since none of them were into anything else I did, aside from drinking.

You sound like me. Except I played baseball. I regret giving it up. Was on the varsity team. I'm 43 years old and have always loved videogames the most though. I was ranked #2 in the world on a game back in the early 2000s. I haven't played fortnite personally in a few years. So I don't know about its woke policies now.

Yeah we are xennials. Not quite gen x and not quite millennials. A weird one off micro generation. We are nerds and love technology but also had a childhood where we could ride bikes and do whatever we wanted lol. Analog childhood. Digital adulthood.

Yea we got to see all the technologies emerge. Like we got into 14.4k modems when 9600 died. Then tried dumbass tech like isdn. And then got to see game cafes and how fun that shit was, and then dsl coming everywhere. And I literally NEVER saw niggers anywhere. I got to see that transition all over my cities and states, even Las Vegas. When I was in my teens to mid 20s it was nigger free, and now it's like 50%-70% nigger

Throttle Internet speed so a normal website takes five seconds to load a single page. You still get all the things you need, but it's too frustrating to remain glued behind your screen.

Unfortunately they are over 10. 11 to 17. And they know how to reset the wifi. Also had them digging out old routers using those. It's easy to say I'm a bitch. But when I was a kid. My parents couldn't stop me.

I enjoy that my router is app connected...so I can lock devices and block connections if needed.

Your router is not password protected and can't throttle individual devices? I guess if hooking up random old routers works there's no easy solution.
