He owns Schubarth Ranch, a 215-acre alternative livestock ranch, in Vaughn, Mo.,

Montana is MT.

I blame public school.

Interestingly the capitalized abbreviations are a relatively recent development. Prior to the change they used lowercase and periods. 'Mo.' has always been Missouri. Montana was Mont. before it became MT.

Wut. I learned the two letter designations in elementary school 30+ years ago. Is ewe an immigrantis?

Two letter abbreviations were standardized 61 years ago. Happened when they implemented zip codes.

You consider 60+ years ago a 'relatively recent development'?

Fair enough, but I'm sure the person who wrote the article was educated in the last 60 years, so they should have known the two letter state abbreviations.

He fucked up big time and could have destroyed the habitat and bloodlines of native animals, all for greed. They don't mention it but the ewes' birth canals were probably injured from the too-large frankensheep he was creating. Fuck that guy.

Valid points but it used to be completely unregulated.
