I know backing in is weird, and usually someone pulling in forward will beat you to it.

But is there really a right way to go through the pumps? People in Texas pull in from both sides.

I think in certain states countries etc it all depends on the locals and how they perceive it should work.

I've lived in places where it doesn't matter to where you gets stared at for Flippin your car around to use the pump.

I've always just not cared and if I'm able to safely pull around and use the pump who the fuck cares.

We don’t have lines to buy gas in my area of Texas. I wasn’t aware there was a direction to follow. I have a car that fills on the left, another fills on the right, another in the middle rear. I come in whichever direction puts the fill opening closest to the pump.
