Hopefully this is obvious to everyone: The CDC is no longer about public health. But, has become an biological weapons arm of the national intelligence and war machine. When you hear "CDC", you should think about them with the same distrust as "NSA", "CIA", "DoD", etc.

Will they be held accountable? Not as long as there are "national security interests" at stake. (Which is to say: never.)
