CLIMATEWIRE | The nation's first outdoor test to limit global warming by increasing cloud cover launched Tuesday from the deck of a decommissioned aircraft carrier in the San Francisco Bay.

The experiment, which organizers didn't widely announce to avoid public backlash, marks the acceleration of a contentious field of research known as solar radiation modification. The concept involves shooting substances such as aerosols into the sky to reflect sunlight away from the Earth.

The move led by researchers at the University of Washington has renewed questions about how to effectively and ethically study promising climate technologies that could also harm communities and ecosystems in unexpected ways. The experiment is spraying microscopic salt particles into the air, and the secrecy surrounding its timing caught even some experts off guard.

the alteration of the environment could be for beings that are about to arrive that doesnt like our atmosphere at all. this sounds cooky as hell but there's no other explanation as to why they are doing this since. again, global warming is a fraud

or another theory is that its another way to poison the masses? either way these ppl are crazy and i think that they arent doing this with the public benefit in mind

Clouding up the sky will produce the greenhouse effect even more making it hotter and warming things up.

I think the climate insanity is simply self perpetuating, like any other false religion these people believe in climate change when the data backing their major claims is spurious at best.

That all said cloud seeding can be used for war or land development and it would cool the planet if done intelligently.

If l were in charge I'd be pumping huge fountains of saltwater into the air above the oceans, we goofed not affirming soft eugenics programs last century, now we need to winnow idiots and spiteful mutants and a small ice age or just far colder, wetter winters should do it. You could probably also do this to cause de-desertification but like with india and arabia the saudis are cloud seeding up stream from the indians and that's causing drought down wind, that drought is the primary evidence being used for the climate tard agenda.

Anyway the goal should be more sea clouds if they claim this is all about the arctic ice sheet and warming oceans.
