Eyes where the whites show above the irises are known as a specific type of eye. The Japanese have a name for them. They are associated with crazy people. The theory is that it's an indication of intercranial pressure which is pushing the eyes out abnormally and causes people to behave in crazy ways. The Japanese name for those eyes are sanpaku.

I grew up hearing all about the Tate & LoBianco murders.
I know who Charles Manson is, that photo didn't look like him! Maybe AOCs' crazy overshadowed his!
