He wasn't very riding defensively. The only defense is to assume every car is going to ruin your day. The number of close calls on bike due to drivers whose brains literally wipe your image from their vision is dumbfounding.

Yeah, he's going too fast for the traffic, and you can see the car start turning looong before he got there. And it doesn't look like he knows how to brake properly either. Dude needs to take a class, assuming he survived.

That was totally avoidable...he should have anticipated that driver coming into his lane by the way he was piling up on the vehicle in front, it only made sense that the idiot was going to swerve over, that's to be expected with dumb fuck cagers.

As a long term bike rider there were enough signals to warn him of what was coming. You always have to expect the absolute worst from the other driver.

I luckily quit riding before anything like this. I’ve only ever wrecked on a dirt bike at Prairie City. Two Harley’s and two Suzukis and no wrecks. I know plenty of people killed on bikes and injured on bikes.
It’s not if, it’s when.
Fuck all that. I have too much to do to be all broken up.

Got into a big wreck as a teenager. One kid in the other car died. I t boned the driver side. He was screaming and cussing. Got out the passenger side started walking around the car. Fell to the ground. Says I can't feel my legs. Paralyzed for life. Definitely don't go trying to walk after something like that. It was their fault by the way.
