It was a hard loss for me because I had to put her down just a couple weeks after the neighbor shot my golden retriever/Rhodesian ridgeback mutt. Losing both dogs back to back was pretty tough. If the opportunity for a decent breed of puppy comes my way, I might get another. There's no rush.
