He has an excellent biography called "Stuka Pilot". Great read.

We just fought the wrong people. simple as that. Rudel was one of us, albeit who took action for years. He reamed the jewish/soviets durng WWII. Never forget people like Rudel and Hartman and Witt.

Also look up Erich Hartmann "The Blond Knight of Germany". 352 kills in his favorited 109. An accolade Ace Pilot....seventy times over. Survived the gulag even. Granted many of those were boom-n-zoom out of the sun on old Soviet sitting duck targets. Rinse lather and repeat. The program was absolute.

A Stuka is an entirely different skill set. Especially with one leg. Like a school bus in F1.

I listened to an audio book with random war stories about various pilots. He was a gentleman too. One story was he flew over some enemies trying to repair a tank with a busted tread. He threw a message out of the plane saying to get clear, because on his next pass he was going to bomb the shit out of that tank. Then he did. What a outstanding Nazi. He carried these messages in his plane, written on a ribbon tied to a bolt. He would throw them out from time to time, if he didn’t feel like pulverizing mechanics.

They don't make'em like Rudel any more. His book is not just a fantastically entertaining read but a view of an individual whose skills as a pilot and attitude towards his country and life are an inspiration. Highly recommended.
