Tact and truth are not mutually exclusive.
Demeanor and quality are also fundamentally unrelated.

In fact this is absolutely shit-tier advice.
Truth has become both a weapon and a target, but not in equal measure.
Now, more than ever, higher order concepts like tact and demeanor are essential for rhetorical and social or professional success.
How truth is wielded and to what effect are strategies that must be developed and honed over the course of one's life, particularly now that we are entering an age in which simply speaking truth can and will be used as justification to deprive you of your life and societal privileges.
I'd say rights, but really... It's 2024.

As for your claim about quality, that is indefensible by any measure.
The quality of our rhetoric must become impeccable and unassailable such that we may rouse the few remaining free minds to our cause.

I always speak the Truth, but I've learned to let the other party become aggressive first. Then I simply retort in kind to match their bullshit.

Eventually they quit and are extremely angry, and yet I'm calm and looking around to see if anyone else wants to continue the conversation on their behalf.
