I really should as well. I have a bench and some dumbbells. It’s the whole ‘go to the gym’ that I can’t do anymore. I do a regular stretching routine though, and that helps.

It is possible that dass and empire are both correct. The self is inseparable from the body. It's how self-focused we are that makes it feminine. A man is selfish to the extent that the focus on himself is motivated by thoughts of his family, his own business, his community, and his culture (nation, religion, tradition, race).

A womens self is centered on thoughts of her family and friends, and/or work, and at the limit, her community.
The gap is in tradition, culture, nation, and race. It's why you see generations of women who are either entirely focused on these subjects, or else fail to care and labor towards these things at all. Because these are not natural concerns of women, but intergenerational trends for women. One generation cares for tradition and culture, (and sometimes race, if raised right), the next doesn't. And the cycle repeats, because humanity does not learn.

Each generation learns the lessons of the past generation, makes times good, dies, and the next generation takes those experiences for granted, inviting hard times. Not like everyone hasn't already seen this meme though.

My post draws a distinction between self and the physical body and says nothing about neglecting either. One can focus and care for their body, as I have long done, without mistaking it for the self.
