They used to be illegal.

In this state it happened around the time they allowed a state lottery under the conditions that they don't allow card use, can't advertise it, the proceeds would all go to education, and ID checks would be mandatory.

They now advertise on TV, social media, radio. And web pages. They have vending machines. The web app permits card usage. The proceeds are robbed by the legislature at will.

It's a shame that some kids go hungry and that the state takes part in making it happen.


Be careful what you vote for, especially state constitutional amendments. If it gives the government more power they will abuse it!

I suppose they did. More recently than being completely illegal, they were allowed to say the name of the medicine or the condition it treated, but not both. That's why there were some really weird commercials.

- No advertisements
- No kickbacks to hospitals, or doctors for prescribing
- No informal contact with, or payments to the staff of the FDA, CDC, NIH
- No control, or influence over drug trials, testing, and reporting.

No person who works for the FDA/CDC/NIH should ever be permitted employment at a drug company. That's how these faggots skirt all semblance of regulation. They don't need informal contact with Big Pharma, because if they go to work for the FDA and rubberstamp everything for a few years, it's a given that they can then "retire" to the board of a Pharma company and rake in a big paycheck.

The problem is that the medical system is not a true free market. The reason people don't make the right decisions starts with (but not the only) the fact that they don't go beyond what is presented. Banning another front will just make the crooks find another where non-crooks won't look at all (typically of the grand population).

If it was allowed that people show and advertise the side effects then I doubt the drug commercials would have much effect. Further, if the media companies didn't block berating people who pushed the vaccine (comedy routines, blogs, etc.) with all the "anti-bullying" policies then I think the commercials would have even less effect.
