Maybe we should start distinguishing between The Revolutionaries and The Founding Fathers. And then work to give The Revolutionaries the same standing or better with the public as the founding fathers have.

Why?

Because a lot of the founding fathers, which includes the framers of the constitution and thus the federalists, got exactly what they wanted. Sometimes people cite the Federalist Papers as a window into what they intended but the Federalist Papers were propaganda used to calm and dismiss people's rightful fears about what a central government would become. That's to say they lied about what their intent was. Alexander Hamilton would be absolutely happy with how things have turned out.

So The Revolutionaries are the coolest within the founding fathers
The anti-federalists second (there is some overlap)
And the federalists who absolutely qualify as founding fathers are not that cool and would probably be trying to centralize firearm policy if they were alive today. Alexander Hamilton would be pushing CBDC.
