One thing I don't like about wildfires is the harm it causes to animals and their habitat. I could care less about rich boomers and their shitty cottages. It's the animals I worry about. Many run away but it's not easy for many. Especially younger ones.
This stuff tends to affect the Inland Empire. I see San Bernardino is getting it. San MURDERdino is arguably the biggest shithole in California. It'd be nice to see it burned down.
I'm not too familiar with San Bernardino, but I know it's close to Ontario and West Covina, which aren't bad areas. I think Palmdale/Lancaster has a worse reputation. A lot of meth labs in the Mojave desert, especially by shithole towns like California City and 29 Palms.
There's only sparse Joshua trees and shrubs in the desert, not much to burn down. But on the other side of the San Andreas mountains it's more like a forest where it's not developed into subdivisions like most of LA County. Malibu gets regular forest fires almost annually just from the sheer heat.
