Warheads have outpaced armor. They need ECM and other active countermeasures. There are some pretty good systems that can intercept RPGs and drones. Boats and armored vehicles will get lighter and faster in the near future.

Munitions outpaced armour by the late 1940s. There is no need to have heavy tanks or battleships anymore, they are superfluous.
