and right now will be looked back on as the good old days, LOL. I am on a contract for a couple more months at my gig and I expect the economy to be completely collapsed by then. The dollar has run its' fiat lifespan course, we are on the brink of civil war and world war, forces that control global financial apparatus have seized governments and are trying to depopulate via kill shots, disrupting the food supply, ..too many factors combing to spell anything other than disaster. I have tech skills, I have trade skills ..but realistically I truly believe that most of us will not survive 2025. Sorry to be a downer

I was out of a job for 14 months. I needed a recruiter to get me my gig. They were really cool. I asked them why tf everytime I applied for a job there was 1200+ applicants. They said of those 1200, 700 were bots, 300 are unqualified, then the rest are pretty people over qualified looking for more money. When I got my job that had 1200 applicants I was going against one guy... Get a recruiter. They are free and they do work.

Those 500+ applicants are not American and not qualified. I post jobs all the time and HR weeds out more than 1000 Indians who did something sort of in the area of what I need 10 years ago. HR is desperate for me to hire “new Americans” but I never do.
