im doing NDIS shit at the moment. im being told, and this is in VIC only, to keep doing a job paid for by the FEDERAL government, i have to pay the STATE government, multiple tens of thousands of dollars, to apply to register 'my agency' for which i need to already have employed a bunch of people, who are already working illegally and unregistered, with clients that i dont have.
Its literally the same paperwork i looked at 4 years ago to open my own RTO and went fuck this back then. Same paperwork with different occupations on it, absolutely not appropriate for a sole trader, and the state wants me to give them a direct cut on money i earn from the federal government.
speak to a headshrink for my client. shrink charges walk ins $50 per session. client is a broke drunk, cant afford it. 'we do ndis work, but its $250 per visit' - psych inflates price by 5 times as soon as the government pays for it.
dudes computer illiterate. they bought him a laptop. the dude wants to go to a gym to stay off the street, they wont pay for a $150 membership. 'nothing to do with your ndis issue'
part of the issue is, he shouldnt fucking be on it, he shouldnt have the level of funding he does, im pissed off as a taxpayer he gets it, and i dont do this shit for him, my other clients actually have issues and get literally fuck all help.
