Is the world dying? There doesn't seem to be anything (positive) happening anywhere that one can go and join or experience.

submitted by anon to askanon 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 13:56:48 ago (+9/-0)     (askanon)

I have a shitload of PTO from having worked at my job for 8 years, and my contacts all over the US have nothing to report as far as something worth going and seeing. I even have friends who are already out there, single, tons of money, ability to travel anywhere, anytime, and they have nothing exciting to report - no neat sights to see, no interesting people, no fun adventures (some of the items on this list are arbitrary, so you'd think someone would have something, anything to report, but no, that is not the case), no monogamous relationships turning into bright and promising marriages starting a new chapter of their lives, no one is bragging about achievements/awards/milestones/jobs, and I don't even know what else to mention. I think there is one exception where a guy I know is adding a deck onto his house and getting a hot tub.

These are honest assessments of my observations. I'm not discounting something because it's outside of my interests or something. I legit mean that the world's life spark looks like it's being extinguished. I'll call up people after a day, a week, a month, several months, a year - they never have anything to report or catch up on. It's not necessarily a negative conversation (though people I know don't really speak negatively like that, if they talk about something negative they're just stating a fact about a situation, of which the solution is either pending or unattainable so it's accepted as part and parcel, and that's the end of it), but it's kind of flat. Flat like a river that's dying and lost its vigor and forced to meander the landscape in order to achieve its meager throughput (this post just got poetic).

I don't really know that there is a "solution" to this (unless someone has a miraculous idea on how to avoid or remedy this), but I thought I'd share. Anyone else seeing this? Do you have a totally opposite experience? If so, what sort of things are you seeing differently, and why do you think that is?

update: I kind of framed the post wrong. I don't need to travel to do things, it'd be fine if something were going on locally, but that is also not the case, which I meant to imply by talking about "all over the US". I mean...... there ain't a daaaaamn thing happening. Young people, old people, middle aged people, poor people, rich people, white people, brown people, working class, white collar, car guys, bar flies, book worms, hell gamers aren't talking about much either except how they're dodging microtransactions which is to cringey for me to even touch as part of a conversation (holy crap gamers have taken a lot of abuse over the years and now they're just crippled and ignoring the hand wringing merchant stealing all their money), stoners, outdoorsey people, hippies, retired people,

I'm doing something fun and positive. But then I've rejected normie lifestyle norms and am not afraid of death and prison.

Everyone you know is a bourgeois consumer of some sort. Even the guys that talk mean on social media.

Hmmm I wonder why. Groceries are expensive and gas is 5$ a gallon. I wouldn’t take a vacation in the US since everything is expensive now and full of niggers. The only people I know living their best life are whores who don’t pay a dime for anything.

Stuff I'm gonna do or have done recently:

Sammy Hagar, REO speedwagon and Styx all on tour. All will play at Saratoga Springs end of July.

Take a helicopter ride over Kauai Hawaii.
See the lava flow glow on Big Island Hawaii.

Take a cruise in the Caribean.

Have you visited Santorini Island in Greece?

Cherry Blossoms in Japan?

Been to Iceland?

Perhaps visit Russia.

Some of the weltschmerz of people is probably due to the falling birthrates due to energy mismanagement and covid lockdowns by WEF puppets. Sheep are not self-reliant - but we are not sheep, nor are our kids.

So yes the sheep have been impacted, and the media, and entertainment destroyed - but those areas were always poisoned

Southern Europe is very nice. In particular all of the cahtedrals and old cities built by romans. Last year I went to Madrid, took a day tour by bus to Toledo and Segovia. Very worthwhile. Then took the train to Barcelona, also nice but not as nice as Madrid.

This year I flew in to Florence Italy and rented a car, then drove through southern Europe to Portugal and visited porto, lisbon, cascais, sintra.

Along the way hit countless castles, cathedrals, museums, beaches, bars, great restaurants.

If you're interested I can tell you more and recommend some things to see.

That's depressing, but it just sounds like everyone you know is old. I have a similar problem, the young who want to can't afford it and the old just veggitate. It's hard to find people to hang out with.

It's summer so you can buy a small boat and invite people out on the lake. Or you can join a bike (motorcycle) club or car club. Perhaps your local church has functions you can volunteer for. A lot of the local parishes have annual cookouts that are more like a street fest at the park. You can host a booth, or volunteer as a coach for a youth league.

A lot of people are distracted by social media so they aren't so motivated to build or improve on their life. A lot like what drugs do to a person. But that same effect was caused by alcohol in previous decades, so it's not a huge change.

There are plenty of places to go in America that have that essence of historical importance that you can feel.

Places like KittyHawk NC. You can walk the same dunes the Wright bros did, where they flew that plane even.

Montauk NY where Nikolas workshop was, and where the tower used to be.

In NYC at the shirtwaist building, that was the catalyst to workers rights becoming a thing.

American history museum in DC, that is free. Even the national mall, or Arlington cemetery to see the straight lines worn into the concrete that the guard walks back and forth on.

I can go on and on of just amazing places across the NE that you can go to, places you can use to spark wonder in your kids minds to remind them that these things really did happen, and they happened where they stand now.

Here right now actually. It isn't a shit hole, it is exactly what you want it to be.

As with any place really. It is history, it is real, and it is able to be seen in person.

How is it that so many here are incapable of seeing anything other than negativity?

i was at jfk airport a few years ago and it looked like trash with trashy people and it was filthy as hell. I like filth, but that was life draining - far too many coloreds too

There are lots of non whites, but that would inhibit your quest for knowledge in an area completely full of it and history?

Doesn't sound like the great white man types I thought were here

it ain't worth the money, and i'm not supporting that jew city. those kikes can reap what they've sown. now if we were to invade jew york or nuke it i would not miss going there to see the wreckage and rebuild it

[ - ] anon 3795735 0 points 10 monthsJun 27, 2024 18:31:52 ago (+0/-0)

So just eradicate what it is our ancestors build for us?

You know why jews always win? Because people such as yourself that refuse to fight for anything made for you.

Fuuuuuuck that, I will live in the trenches and fight for what is mine, jews didn't make this shit, they gave our elders the idea that their labor, something tangible was worth their construct.

Not going to let them have it myself.

[ - ] anon 5875295 0 points 10 monthsJun 27, 2024 19:09:08 ago (+0/-0)

Okay, so let me rephrase the question. What things happened 10-20 years ago that you could consider good?

[ - ] anon 1947263 [op] 0 points 10 monthsJul 5, 2024 23:52:30 ago (+0/-0)

nah, i want something better than that.

There's a deception at play...few pretend to be merchants to trick many to consume aka to buy into what few a selling. In reality...nature consumes everything; those within are free to choose how to respond to that.

As few are dialing back the selling; many slowly come to realize that they sold themselves out and that consumption cannot be paid away.

I don't really know that there is a "solution"

Solution (inception towards death) generates problems (life)...jews tempt gentiles to seek solutions to solve problems.

Because it’s the little things. Focus on the little things. I built a flower bed in the backyard for my wife, watching her plants grow is pleasant. I have an Adirondack chair set in the backyard. When I’m not busy, I sit there with a beverage and throw a ball for my dog. She brings it back diligently for me to throw again. It is so pleasant that I marvel at how such a simple thing feels so good.

why travel? you no longer have to travel to experience the diversity. Its outside of your door. Everyday.

[ - ] anon 3524535 5 points 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 15:24:21 ago (+5/-0)

He doesn't want to "experience" anything. He wants to be entertained. It's a disorder created by nothing more than his parent's purchase of a television before he was born.

For all of recorded history his ancestors lived with their family and extended family on a farm or a small town,

They talked, not with only one, but all of the ten people in their orbit and found plenty of variety in that. They roamed the countryside bring back things and stories. They developed a code of courtesy and manners that made it difficult not to get along. THey had animals and vegetables to look after.

[ - ] anon 1947263 [op] 1 point 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 14:18:56 ago (+1/-0)

It's not necessary that I travel, I was only trying to express the breadth of all the nothing that's happening.

It's LITERALLY outside my door. I have a half nigger/half beaner right next door. He's a disgusting fatbox who's engaging in disability fraud by claiming PTSD. And guess what else? He has an chubby, unattractive white coalburner girlfriend who STILL wears a face mask every time she goes outside. At least the coalburner works a legitimate job though.

The pyramids are worth seeing...that's about all I can recommend that is worth the trip. The Louvre is impressive, but I wouldn't fk with Paris for it. Other than that... I'd rather be farming.

[ - ] anon 1947263 [op] 0 points 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 14:16:13 ago (+0/-0)

The pyramids are worth seeing...that's about all I can recommend that is worth the trip

I legit had that on my list due to some new and amazing documentaries i was watching, however Egypt just cucked out and let Israel off the hooked to commit their genocide, so I'm boycotting Egypt unless they unleash a massive wave of missiles into Israel and get a kill count of at least 3000 people, double the October 7 numbers. And this is for life, so I will likely not be going there.

The Louvre is impressive, but I wouldn't fk with Paris for it.

Yeah, my friend took a tour of Europe about 4-5 years ago and Paris was the most putrid place. I've been meaning to call an expensive hotel in Paris and get everything set up to go, then have someone in the background of the call mention the Africans there, then ask the person over the phone if there really are Africans walking around everywhere and tell them I want to cancel the trip if there are lol. That would be worth every cent and second of time.

[ - ] anon 3351508 0 points 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 21:37:22 ago (+0/-0)

Yeah, Egypt is not a good idea at this time.
If you ever do go, get a guided tour from ramses tours, and don't bring women with you, they won't like it.

[ - ] anon 3795735 0 points 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 15:20:08 ago (+0/-0)

Not as of 2007 to now I can only imagine it is worse with the begging and scamming.

Added that Egypt is worse than most major us cities in the amount of fast food and lack of local businesses and culture even. Many overseas places like what you said are overrun with corporations attempting to capitalize off it with every action.

[ - ] anon 4140542 1 point 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 14:07:18 ago (+1/-0)

People are working more and living less than ever before, largely as a function of manipulated energy costs and insane taxation and inflation.

The petrodollar just officially died. It's not gonna be rosy.

I'm always leary of people that 'need to travel'. It's like they aren't happy wherever they are. However, I kinda agree. There's this feeling of...bleh... that's blanketing the emotions of the nation.

[ - ] anon 1947263 [op] 1 point 10 monthsJun 24, 2024 14:12:14 ago (+1/-0)

I'm always leary of people that 'need to travel'

You should be. There is a wide range of reasons to be leary of them, and of course there are exceptions, but most of the time they're up to no good to be honest (and sometimes it's just that they're an unwitting nuance wherever they go).

There's this feeling of...bleh... that's blanketing the emotions of the nation.

It's more than just the nation though. I have contacts from college all over the world and it's the same story with them. I completely understand the bills going through the roof part, but that doesn't make sense for some areas on the planet, unless they got used to a new type of lifestyle and then it got disrupted. In which case I think these people are bitterly waiting for the opportunity to return to that lifestyle.
