This is a little alarmist. If you worked in a woodshop, you'd be dead in a week according to this woman.

The biggest culprits will be pome fruits and stone fruits (less so berries), cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers.

One option is to peel your stuff.

The other option is to stop shopping at Whole Foods and go get your produce from a farmer's market. Not every farmer's market is the same.

The best option: grow your own.

Everything is a poison in sufficient quantities. And more and more sensitive detection methods are being developed, so even astronomically small quantities of more toxic things can be detected in almost anything. These scare videos don't give any sense of the risk level of the coating. The real question is, given one's limited time each day, and other things to do, what are the BIGGEST threats to health that one can eliminate. They probably have nothing to do with wax coatings, and have to do with living in nigger-infested cities, eating crappy diets that follow the (((food pyramid))), being an apologist for tyrants, etc.

Even food itself is poisonous. It evolved over time to be toxic to animals so they wouldn't eat it (some of them). We have major organs dedicated to countering these toxins and hard-to-digest structures in plants. It's all a balancing act, and almost never a case of there being a clear right approach for everyone.

Spot on

I was having a conversation with my sister yesterday about coatings they use on vegetables. I buy some produce from Aldi. If it is not prepared within a day or two it will turn and go bad. She said that she prefers to purchase from Farm Boys (Canada) because the produce lasts longer than the chain stories. Inferring it was fresher. I told her that its natural for produce to go bad and it indicates to me less tampering by the store. They are using sprays in the US that are banned in Europe.

Farmers markets are no guarantee.

Really?
Is anything guaranteed?
Are you one of those people who need to keep flapping their lips and fingers, otherwise their brains start to work?

You don't know what pesticides they spray on things, and they're not necessarily more honest than a grocery store. In fact some farmers put some produce aside from their grocery sales and take it to the farmers market to sell above retail instead at wholesale. Like someone else said, if you want to be sure, grow it yourself. Also get your soil tested first because sometimes that shit is polluted.

I didn't listen to what she said, but I noticed immediately that she isn't tattooed! Wow!

[ - ] Love240 8 points 10 monthsJul 1, 2024 00:55:54 ago (+8/-0)

Yes she is, the arm that is holding the phone is tattooed.

What I couldn't help but notice is that she needs to cover up; Half of her left breast was exposed intermittently.

Had to rewatch for breast exposure.

[ - ] Sector2 4 points 10 monthsJul 1, 2024 02:00:42 ago (+4/-0)

Confirmed, at least one tattoo and one breast.

It's a shame that our society has fallen to the point where a whore with her breasts halfway exposed seems modest to us because she isn't covered in tattoos, piercings or blue hair.
I see why women were targeted first in the effort to destabilize the West---they are the most easily manipulated.

THe hot water was running one day and I passed a nearby apple under it I was going to eat and the wax turned all White. Having nothing better to do than be curious, I tried to remove the wax. That wasn't possible without more advanced trickery than I was willing to think about. I've been peeling everything since, and will continue.

I have no reason to eat peels anyway.

Dang. I like apple peels and continue to eat the ones I cut off for the little ones even tho I know better.
I wonder if they should not be composted either?

...what's with the stupid giggling?...and she has a defective kid?

[ - ] Trope 0 points 10 monthsJul 1, 2024 21:05:36 ago (+0/-0)

I wouldnt even worry about the wax. How about the pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides? Ate a pound of Mexican blueberries and felt like I was dying the next day. Learned my lesson.
