At the time I was reading through comments on 4chan and someone pointed out that there was something fishy about the real estate around Sandy Hook. Every county in the United States has an assessor website that shows the dividing lines, owners, sales and taxes for every inch of property in that county. You can look up your own county by simply typing in the "[your state], [your county] county assessor".

Instead of just taking anyone's word for it, I went to the county website and started looking at the real estate around Sandy Hook elementary and yes, there was something unbelievable about this real estate. You have to first understand how important assessor websites are, they are the basis for taxes and property line disputes, among other things. A property line assessment can cost $10,000+, for example. Assessment of property is a HUGE deal and not something that has a lot of incorrect data as it could open up all sorts of lawsuits since so much money is involved around assessments. Anyone who has bought a house and signed a 2 inch thick pile of paperwork knows that there are a lot of details that need to be extremely accurate for purchasing and selling property.

Basically, a bunch of the houses around Sandy Hook were sold for $0 on Christmas Day or something very close to that. First off, how would any house sell on a national holiday, much less many, many houses all on the same holiday in the same neighborhood right next to this school. I spent hours searching around the same city in similar areas and nothing like this existed anywhere else except for housing directly next to the Sandy Hook school.

These weren't shacks or abandoned houses, these were nice houses worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, how and why would they all sell for $0 on the same day. Nothing about these houses made any sense. It's been years since I looked into this and I have never gone back to that county assessor website to see if they somehow cleaned up these records or left them with their oddities. I actually got kind of freaked out seeing that there absolutely was something extremely out of the ordinary happening regarding this Sandy Hook incident.
